Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of photo booth and event services by Yaku Collective Ltd, trading as Manjal Events (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you, the client (“you”, “your”). By booking or enquiring about our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Bookings & Confirmation

1.1. A booking is only confirmed once we have received your completed booking form and your non-refundable deposit (see clause 3).

1.2. We will send you a written confirmation (by email) detailing your package, date, timings, venue and agreed inclusions. Please check this carefully and notify us of any errors within 7 days.

1.3. All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. Packages & Services

2.1. Our packages (Classic, Signature and Luxe) are described on our website and in your booking confirmation. Our multi-event collections are offered on request and are set out in your booking confirmation. The package you book is the package you receive, and the inclusions for each package are set out in the Annex to these Terms.

2.2. All packages include three (3) hours of booth operation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.3. We may substitute equipment of equivalent or better quality if necessary, without notice, provided the service standard is maintained.

2.4. Any additional services, add-ons or extended hours requested after booking are subject to availability and additional charges, which we will confirm in writing before the event.

2.5. Our multi-event collections are offered on request at Signature level, and are priced in your booking confirmation. An individual event can be upgraded to Luxe for£180 per event. Where an event is upgraded to Luxe, the Luxe inclusions in the Annex apply to that event.

3. Pricing, Deposit & Payment

3.1. Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total is required to secure your date. Your date is not held until the deposit is received.

3.2. Balance: The remaining balance (75%) is due no later than 14 days before the event (or as stated in your booking confirmation).

3.3. Payment methods: bank transfer or cash. No card payments are taken.

3.4. If the balance is not paid by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.

3.5. All prices are in GBP. Manjal Events is not VAT registered; prices are as stated.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

4.1. Cancellation by you:

• The deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances.
• Once the balance has been paid in full, it is non-refundable.

4.2. Rescheduling: We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a date change, subject to availability. If you reschedule, the deposit is lost unless the event is moved to a new date within 6 months of the original event date. If we cannot accommodate the new date, our standard cancellation terms apply.

4.3. Cancellation by us: In the unlikely event we must cancel (e.g. illness, equipment failure, circumstances beyond our control), we will refund all monies paid in full. Our liability is limited to a refund of amounts paid; we are not liable for any consequential losses.

5. On the Day

5.1. Access & setup: We require access to the venue before the agreed start time for setup, and a suitable power supply within approximately 5 metres of the booth location on a working circuit.

5.2. Space: A clear space of approximately 3m × 3m is required for the booth, backdrop stand, print station and guest flow (2.5m × 2.5m absolute minimum, adapted to the space).

5.3. Venue rules: You are responsible for ensuring our presence and setup comply with the venue’s rules and that any required permissions are obtained.

5.4. Attendant: Our attendant(s) will operate the booth. Please treat them with courtesy; we reserve the right to withdraw service if staff are subjected to abusive behaviour (no refund).

5.5. Health & safety: We will take reasonable care for guest safety. Guests use the booth at their own risk.

6. Prints, Keepsakes & Media

6.1. Unlimited prints are provided within the booked package during the event, subject to reasonable use and print media availability.

6.2. Keepsakes (e.g. magnets, guestbooks, welcome boards) are produced as described in your package. Magnet quantities are as stated (e.g. 100 for Luxe); additional magnets are available at an agreed price.

6.3. Post-event gallery: A QR and post-event gallery is provided as described in your package. We will make reasonable efforts to deliver digital media after the event.

6.4. Copyright: All photographs and media remain the intellectual property of Manjal Events. We grant you a personal, non-commercial licence to use the images for your own purposes.

6.5. Marketing: We may use photographs from your event for our marketing (website, social media) unless you opt out in writing before the event.

7. Liability

7.1. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount paid for the services.

7.2. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profit, data or goodwill).

7.3. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

7.4. We are not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including but not limited to fire, flood, adverse weather, power failure, strikes, or government restrictions.

7.5. The Client agrees to indemnify Manjal Events against any and all liability related to the Client’s event, and against any liability associated with the use of photographs taken within the photo booth at the Client’s event.

8. Data Protection

8.1. We do not hold any of your personal data. We only retain the details of your event and its logistics (such as the event date, venue, package and timings) for the purpose of delivering our services. We process this information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK GDPR / Data Protection Act 2018.

9. General

9.1. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us and supersede any prior discussions.

9.2. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full force.

9.3. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Annex — Package Inclusions

All packages include three (3) hours of booth operation. Add-ons and extended hours are available at additional charge (see clause 2.4).
